For years, there has been a tussle between GANS makers as to the correct way to hook up your co2 box. When I first started my plasma journey in 2015, I had heard MTK say negative to nano, but where in all those teachings, I just couldn’t remember. Last year the subject was touched on briefly, but again I couldn’t find it  after a few weeks of info overload.

This week, I had it, time stamped and noted. If any of you have the details of last year’s clip, please send them to me so I can create a video compilation. So here is the answer out of the mouth of MTK.

The point is to create a current interruption and the flow should not come out of the nano plate, but be pulling in instead.

Negative to nano is the correct way to hook up your box, otherwise you will be stripping the nano off your plate. And, yes, over time this can happen anyway, even with your negative to nano, but at an extremely slow pace. Remember, in most cases of GANS production, you need millivolts and milliamps of power, even if you need them at all. It is usually quite fine to make your GANS without power at all. We are mimicking nature, so the pace is always slower than we would like.

So here is the clip from KSW 385
